World Environment Day (WED)

It occurs on 5th June every year to spread awareness about the global environment issues like marine pollution, global warming, sustainable consumption to wildlife crimes. This time host nation is Canada.

WED has developed to grow into the universal platform for public outstrip, with cooperation from over 143 countries every year. Each year, WED has the different theme that dominant corporations, NGOs, communities, governments, and celebrities globally adopt to advocate environmental causes.

Theme:  ‘Connecting People to Nature – in the city and on the land, from the poles to the equator’.
